Make $$ Playing Video Games!!

I remember being up literally all night, playing video games with my nephew. I had 100 droids to destroy and had defeated 80 of them but the last twenty were the hardest. Especially since I had almost no health left! But by 6:00am, somehow I had figured out how to win.

We used to love playing Star Wars Power Battles together as it was a two player game. Together, Joss and I had gone through eight levels together. We were an amazing team and it was so exciting discovering all the secrets, crushing the enemy with all our new moves (those we had gained in the last few levels). Our light sabers seemed to blaze a trail through the droids as we defeated one level after the next. We had discovered how to climb the roofs of Corrasant and escape being pushed off by bounty hunters (or falling off by making the wrong moves) and had somehow even killed the ring leader (a huge boss lord who lived in a penthouse atop the city that was almost near impossible to get to).

These were those really challenging levels. There was this one particular one where we had to climb this massive tree and we kept falling off by accident and dying! And then there another level where there was this huge boss caterpillar that seemed to never die! We just couldn't find where its weak spot was and had to keep redoing the whole level over and over again just to take another punch at it. The caves and erie places in Naboo were exciting to go through too and we would make our way through slippery rocky passes and forests full of droids, bogs that were hard to get out of (if you slipped into them) and final patrols that always seemed to have a new fiery weapon that gave them the edge.
And then we suddenly had to switch gears and fly through the city of Naboo in droid speeders and avoid all the tank fire and walls that kept showing up out of nowhere.

But push on we did to the end of the game. But somehow, though we got close, we could not get through the whole game as there was always one crazy level that wore us out. As it got later and later and as the sun started to rise, we got sleepier and sleepier until all our adrenaline had run out. We just had to go to sleep!
And so our adventure would have to wait till a later time. Joss would have to leave for San Diego and it would be another couple weeks before we would see each other again.

In the meantime, I kept plugging away at that crazy level, trying to beat it. And soon I would make a call to my nephew and he would listen in amazement as I told him all the things we were doing wrong and all the secrets I had found out and how I had actually beaten off Darth Maul! When he finally came back up to Los Angeles again and we were able to play once more, it was amazing how hard it was to defeat him as a team! Somehow the dynamic had changed and we had not yet got into our groove - or something. Whatever the something was, we figured it out (after only redoing the level close to TEN times! Lol!) I think we had fallen off the cliffs close to twenty times and had actually merged into the game wall and couldn't get out - at least once.

The last level was always the hardest as we made our way skillfully and quickly (but still cautiously - as one bad move and it was all over) up the floating power rings that got higher and higher in the control station. Darth Maul was there to meet us again and this time we had to develop a new strategy. When we suddenly defeated the whole game, we about shouted our lungs out with feelings of victory!

These days, as my nephew moved to another state, I now play with my son, as he has gotten older, and enjoys playing too. After reading through all this with me, I asked my son how I should end this story. My son said: "Okay, say this: "There will always be new adventures waiting out there for us at Best Buy!" Ha ha! Okay, son. That was a good one.

Ever Want to Fly? Try This OUT!

Click on the pic and watch the flight simulator!

Or This....!

Ever Want to Fly? Try This!

"What if I told you that you can experience the closest thing to actually flying a REAL plane in the comfort of your home.... with state-of-the-art realistic flight modelling system and actual controls of the cockpit!

As an enthusiast, I'm sure you've tried some other commercially available flight simulators. We've tried them all and all of them left us feeling frustrated. Here's the problem:

Poor selection of world terrain and out-of-date aircraft. Most software have an incomplete database with infrequently updates and limited selection of "working" aircraft.

Unrealistic flight dynamics and cockpit mockups. The physics is almost laughable and the cockpits are completely inaccurate on most aircraft. (most controls are not even functional!)

Slow, clunky and never really works. Just like you, we're frustrated with incompatibility and the complicated setup of other flight sims.

Poor graphics and scenery models. If you don't have a "super-computer", most flight sims look downright ugly with poor graphics.

No instrument flying and out-of-date approach database for airports. Even the popular FSX lacks in many ways...
Just like you, we knew that it has got to be a better way to make flight simulators the way it was meant to be played.

The good news is there's a sea change is sweeping across the flight simulation industry, and it lies...in a powerful new flight simulator that will revolutionize everything and change the way you experience flying games!

After 5 years of intensive development and research with FAA and NASA, we present to you:

VIRTUAL PILOT 3D

"...It is certified for commercial use and provides hardware and frame-rate checks required for FAA certification. VirtualPilot3D™ is also currently in beta testing stage all over participating flight schools worldwide." *

So go ahead and try out the video link above and see what its all about!!!
